Obsessions has been a staple Downtown gem in Vancouver since 1999, located at 595 Howe St. This year, we are thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration with local artist Aryan A. Obsessions offers an eclectic selection of items, from watches and art supplies to pens and much more. Now, we are proud to feature Aryan A.’s stunning, one-of-a-kind creations, available at our store from January 22nd to February 13th, 2025.

About Aryan A.

Aryan A. is the creative force behind Gallery9 and the artist behind the unique hand-painted bags, bookmarks, cards, and original paintings. His work integrates art and functionality. Aryan uses sustainable materials and intricate applique techniques to create each item, ensuring that beauty and sustainability go hand in hand. His work is unique—once a piece is sold, it is gone forever, making each creation truly one-of-a-kind.

With a BFA in painting, Aryan has exhibited his art in over 100 shows worldwide, hosted solo exhibitions, and contributed to numerous projects in theater, books, magazines, and newspapers. Now based in Vancouver, Aryan continues to bring his artistic vision to life, with each piece carrying the spirit of expressionism through vibrant colors, rich textures, and bold forms.
